School has started  and time is short, but I’d like to write about Elizabeth George’s series of crime novels The Inspector Lynley’s mysteries. I have recently read A traitor to memory and, having been slightly disappointed, I compared it to the other Lynley books I’ve read. Anyway, I’ll have to write this a bit at a  time. For now I will just list my favourite, in case somebody needs inspiration to pick a very long novel to keep them company.  They are:

Playing for the Ashes,

For the sake of Helena,

In the presence of the enemy,

This body of death, which is, I have to say, extremely good from the literary point of view, but also very disturbing.
